Which documents are required for my application?

Your application should include the following documents:

  • Application letter with concrete job position request and earliest starting date
  • Résumé in table form
  • A copy of your transcripts
  • Certificate(s) of additional work-related qualifications

Do you prefer an e-mail or paper application?

Both forms of applications are welcome. The type of application has no impact on our selection process or final decision. Whether you use paper or digital, it is important that the application is complete and detailed.

How can I tell whether the jobs on the home page are still current?

All open positions at QEST are published and maintained on a regular basis. We are looking for enthusiastic employees to fill all positions that are listed on our home page.

I do not see the exact position I would like to apply for among your open vacancies. Can I apply anyway?

You can send us your application at any time. This also applies also for internships, co-op programs and thesis work.

I have submitted my application. What will happen next?

Once your application has been registered by the HR department in Holzgerlingen, you will receive a letter confirming the receipt. Then, your application will be forwarded to the appropriate department at QEST. Please understand that a thorough review of your application will take some time. We assure you that we will process your application as quickly as possible.

What happens to my information?

Your data will be saved in our system until the application process has been completed or you no longer wish to follow up on your application. Your details will be handled strictly confidentially and will be subject to the applicable data protection laws.

I am interested in several jobs. Is one application sufficient?

Yes. This applies to both paper and e-mail applications. Simply list in your cover letter for what other jobs your application documents should be checked.

How can I apply for an internship, a co-op program or thesis work?

You will find all vacancies on our website. If none of the current offers matches your skills and interests as a student or an intern, you can take the initiative and send us your application along with the following documents:

  • Cover letter listing field of study, area of concentration and desired period
  • Résumé in table form
  • Undergraduate certificate, transcripts, grade reports, or pass/fail confirmations (if available)
  • Certificates or reference letters from previous internships or training programs (if available)
  • Proof of other qualifications (if available)
