QEST Airborne Broadband Antennas follow a modular concept:
The core element is always an ultra-low noise amplifier
which, depending on application and customer needs, can be
operated at ambient temperatures or in a cryogenic mode. The
latter is the basis for smallest possible dimensions and
ultimate performance of the final antenna product.
The high efficiency primary antenna aperture is adapted to
the specific application needs (frequency range, receive/transmit mode, multi-band operation etc.) and are then
combined with the ultra-low noise amplifier (including
cooling technology if required).
This modular concept allows a short-time reaction on
specific market requirements, customer needs or mounting
positions (fuselage/tail).
