Novel, small-sized and lightweight Airborne Broadband Antennas with integrated multi-band capability and superior performance.

Innovative concepts, leading-edge designs and components as well as a fully dedicated team build the basis for QEST’s acceptance in the in-flight entertainment and connectivity market.

Starting from a strong R&D background, QEST’s company development is characterized by a chronology of success. Today, the company is well-positioned as serious and sustainable antenna manufacturer and supplier to the industry:

  • Presentation of an intriguing Dual Band antenna concept (combined Ku and L Band capabilities in one antenna panel)
  • Successful antenna flight test in early 2007, in cooperation with a major airframer
  • Frost & Sullivan “2008 European Airborne Broadband Antennas Technology Innovation of the Year Award”
  • Design and implementation of an industry-leading bi-directional Ku Band horn array aperture and skew tracking module (fully compliant with current FCC regulations for airborne Ku band antennas)
  • Successful cooperation with US-based antenna manufacturer TECOM Industries, Inc.; Joint development, production and marketing of the Ku Band Antenna System "KuStream™ 1000" (for details see www.kustream.com)
  • Setting up a full scale production line in 2009

Driving airborne connectivity: QEST’s antenna products are targeted at applications with demanding bandwidth requirements, e.g. full Internet/E-mail access and simultaneous Live-TV.
